The order directs the Attorney General to prioritise prosecution of anyone who uses AI, including agents, to illegally access data. Compromised, over-permissioned, or steered through a poisoned tool description, the exposure does not change. Most stacks split this across an IAM system, a logging tool, and an agent framework, none built with the others in mind. ↳ Identity scattered across separate systems produces gaps. ↳ Agents inherit access from shared service accounts, far beyond task scope. ↳ Incidents get reconstructed after the fact, not documented as they happen. New research from cybersecurity analyst Andrew Green, 𝐀𝐈 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬, 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐨𝐮, tested six leading AI firewall vendors on catching attacks that build slowly across a conversation instead of hitting all at once.
