If you’re troubleshooting a UPAS, you can perform a diagnostic test even if you don’t have an external flow meter. Here’s how: https://lnkd.in/gYpjh8ut
How to perform a diagnostic test on a UPAS v2.1 or v2.1 PLUS without an external flow meter

Which UPAS model do I have? Which user guide should I be looking at? Which mobile app do I need to use? Use the images below and the information in this new blog post to figure it out! https://hubs.li/Q04hYP0W0

Excellent work from Berkeley Air on the indoor air quality benefits of home electrification! In this study, UPAS were used to measure in-home PM2.5 levels in rural communities in the San Joaquin Valley.
📰 Hot off the press‼️In our study in CA's San Joaquin Valley that characterized #IAQ associated with an electrification program, median #NO2 was 63% lower in electric stove homes vs gas! Thanks to our wonderful partners #CalAsthma and our funders for making this possible! 🙌https://bit.ly/47Dp9t9

What does the process of returning a UPAS for service look like? How should you request service? Where should you ship your UPAS for service? When should you send payment for the service? How long might the process take? Find out the answers to these questions in our latest post: https://hubs.li/Q046h6Y40

What factors should be taken into account when deciding how to ask people to wear the UPAS? How has the UPAS been worn in prior studies? Learn more in our new blog post. https://hubs.li/Q044GK_X0

Read our new blog post, "Estimating sample mass," to learn how to answer the following questions: 1. Should I use the 1 L/min PM2.5 inlet or the 2 L/min PM2.5 inlet? 2. Is the mass of PM accumulated on the filter likely to exceed my limit of detection (LOD) for the majority of my samples? 3. What is the lowest time-averaged PM mass concentration that I will be able to quantify reliably given my LOD, sample flow rate, and sample duration? 4. How long will I need to sample to collect a mass of PM that exceeds my LOD? https://hubs.li/Q0437VWG0

Our latest blog post includes guidance for performing quality assurance checks on particulate matter samples. Some of this advice is specific to working with the UPAS or Home Health Box, but these quality assurance steps apply to samples collected with any instrument. https://hubs.li/Q042hFNP0
