  • Many software engineers are experiencing an identity crisis. As AI increasingly handles the mechanical act of writing code, we're forced to confront a deeper question, what was our real skill all along? The answer is becoming clear. It was never just about coding. It was about engineering solutions, understanding problems, and architecting outcomes. The code was simply the medium, not the mastery. So perhaps it's time we rename ourselves. "Solutions Engineer" or "Outcome Engineer" might better capture what we actually do, translate ambiguous human problems into concrete, working systems. The tools change. That core skill doesn't.

  • The first week of November was nothing short of electrifying. I had the privilege of attending TechSparks 2025, YourStory's flagship tech summit in Bangalore, and what an experience it was! Walking through the venue, I was surrounded by India's most innovative minds visionary founders bootstrapping their dreams, C-suite leaders scaling their ventures, and passionate teams from both startups and enterprises. The conversations were rich, candid, and incredibly insightful. During my discussions about India's AI landscape, three critical themes consistently surfaced: 🔹 Deep Tech Investment – There's a strong consensus that India needs to move beyond application-layer innovation and invest significantly in foundational deep tech research and development. 🔹 Data Sovereignty – As AI becomes more pervasive, ensuring data sovereignty and building indigenous AI infrastructure is not just strategic—it's essential for national interest. 🔹 Enterprise AI Agents – While the potential is massive, organizations are grappling with real challenges around implementation, trust, governance, and integration of AI agents into existing workflows. And what inspired me beyond the technology discussions was witnessing entrepreneurship at its absolute peak. The dreams, ambitions, and sheer determination of young Indians are transforming the ecosystem. This isn't just about building businesses it's about building a future where India becomes an undeniable force in global technology leadership. P.S. I was honored to win the challenge for best AI prompts at the event! It was a fun reminder that in the age of AI, knowing how to communicate with these systems is becoming as crucial as understanding the technology itself. To everyone I connected with at TechSparks—thank you for the inspiring conversations. Here's to building the future, together. #TechSparks2025 #IndianStartups #AIInnovation #DeepTech #Entrepreneurship #DataSovereignty #BangaloreTech

  • 🔥 Hot take: AI is getting a little too safe. Ever tried asking something slightly outside the box, only to get the “Sorry, I can’t help with that” wall? 😅 I get it, safety is important. But sometimes, it feels like creativity is getting censored. That’s why Venice.ai caught my attention. It’s built around privacy + uncensored AI: prompts stay on your device no overbearing filters, access to top models for text, images, and code Makes me wonder.. Do we want AI that protects us with censorship, or trusts us with freedom? I lean toward freedom with responsibility. Because breakthroughs don’t happen inside a box.
