Procrastination is a pervasive problem for university students. One commonly adopted way to tackle procrastination in interventions is raising people’s awareness. 🧚‍♀️ ✌🏻

While a gamification mechanism🕹️👾 has been used widely in such interventions, we propose a game with a purpose (GWAP) called "ProcrastinoGo" that helps students📚✏️ be aware of the characteristics and causes of procrastination and practice time-management⏱ strategies to ensure task completion.

ProcrastinoGo is a turn-based, multiplayer👨🏻‍🦲👩🏼‍🦰👧🏻🧑🏾‍🦱 game intended to give players realistic experiences with procrastination. Throughout the game, players’ objective is to gain as many task points as possible. In each turn/day, players strategically plan their daily activities that cost their physical💪🏻 and mental❤️ energy and encounter random and unexpected incidents⁉️ 🤡 likely to affect their energy as well as their schedule in the game.

Through experiencing these elements, players can relate their daily life to the game and be aware of how their behaviors in the game resemble those in their real life🤯, and therefore learn to be prepared for unexpected events, as well as strategically plan ahead their daily activities.📅
