Ever since I joined the Greek Community at USC I realized that there was a serious difference between the potential and actual alumni engagement and fundraising within the Greek community.
USC is basically paying me to help fix this as I am working to raise money for the Campus Center from the Greek constituency at USC and when I am done I plan to have a framework of solid fundraising and alumni engagement that will help leverage the USC Greeks to an even higher level.

My position as House Manager allowed me to quickly apply the concepts I learned in the Marshall School of Business with the most freedom. What organization other than a Fraternity would entrust the housing, feeding, bill paying, and general management of the living arrangements of 50+ college students to a 19 year old individual such as myself?
The semester of service allowed me to transform the duties of House Manager from a feared position to a highly sought after one, gain confidence in my leadership, planning, management, and team building ability, and earn me the title of AGO "Brother of the Year."

I started at Santa Monica College taking a night class with my father when I was 14 years old.
From then on I slowly ramped up to taking classes there full time by the age of 16.
In order to get into USC I maintained a 4.0 (perfect) GPA, hard classes, high units (20 & 21 units my last 2 semesters), and diverse group of classes (dance, opera, business, art, music, volleyball), while working part time.
Although I look back on my time at SMC and see it as a little overkill to get into USC, I was pretty much on my own as far as realizing my admittance into the school of my choice. My parents were very supportive but unaware of the dedication required to get into a top notch school. So as my dad always said I simply "aimed for perfection, and settled for excellence."
