Mac/Windows Multimedia Technology Specialist, Desktop/Web Application Programmer, and Network Engineer
Springfield, Missouri Area
Systems/Network Engineer and Multimedia Technology Specialist with rich experience in both UNIX, Apple and Microsoft environments. I'm fluent in C# .NET, Python, and web languages like HTML/XHTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript. I know some Java as well, and a handful (symfony, Django, Rails, ASP.NET MVC) of web application frameworks. I dabble in Mac OS X/iPhone application programming with Objective-C. I've been in the educational technology industry for close to 3 years now, and I've been in Windows/Mac support for twice that. I've taught sessions on Mac OS X, podcasting, dual-booting Mac/Windows, and other software and their applications in higher education.
I want to work for a small- or medium-sized organization with friendly, motivated people like myself, as well as an organization that fosters learning and personal growth.
